My Girls

I have got two female goats at the moment. Sisters, Bluebell and Charlotte. They are British Toggenburgs and as well as giving us lots of milk we take them to shows. We’ve had mixed success in the show ring over the years but love going out and meeting other people who are as obsessed with goats as I am!

 

Bluebell

 

Bluebell is the older of the two sisters, she was born in 2021 and was one of three kids. They were my first full pedigree kids having bought two milking goats from a commercial dairy the year before. Bluebell is very Cheeky and has a habit of jumping out of her pen and going walk about, her favourite place is in the orchard.

 

 

Charlotte

 

Charlotte was born the following year in 2022, also one of three. Their mother, Isabella, always had triplets. Charlotte is very sweet and enjoys nothing more that cuddling up especially if you’ve got a biscuit in you pocket.

 

Klaudio

Klaudio, not a girl! Is my breeding billy, he’s new to me this year and hopefully will father not only next years kids but also the following years. He was only born in 2024 but is more than man enough for my girls, with a very sweet nature. He enjoys a cuddle if he can get away with it, however he’s very very smelly in the autumn and it’s not an easy smell to get off your skin.
